I Vote for Non-Bra-Burning, Eco-Friendly Feminism at the White House. But Liking Burqas? That's a Tough Nut to Swallow.

It's been a slow news weekend at the Obama White House. We haven't had a jolt of O-Effect electricity since Thursday night's luau.

I, on the other hand, have been diligently digging into Mother Nature over at Anne of Carversville.

We have tomato plants growing better to women's voices, and I've challenged PETA that flies are not higher on the ethics pole than orchids, asking PETA if plants have feelings, shouldn't we stop eating them, too?

Writing that Prince Charles is the man of the hour for telling us 30 years ago that talking to plants was a good practice, I've come up with a splendid idea for Michelle to ignite yet another activist lightening rod, this time around recycling. It's a doosey!

It's official. First Lady Michelle Obama is the head of America's Food Movement. Obama Foodorama crowned her so this morning.

Mine is not a particularly elegant and invigorating headline about FLOTUS's harvesting peas in the garden today, but it's the reaction going through my mind. This woman is so down to earth and unpretentious, it's amazing.

Queen Elizabeth Plants Her Very Own Organic Garden

If I were Prince Charles, I would just throw my hands up in the air and say "women!".

ABC News is reporting that Queen Elizabeth has decided to grow her own organic veggies, perhaps influenced by her dear American friend Michelle Obama.

It's been decades since Buckingham Palace has enjoyed the bounty of a vegetable garden.

Politico reports this morning that the White House Kitchen Garden is far more than an opportunity for Michelle Obama to express her feminist-feared, regressive, nurturing woman image.

It was obvious to me from day one that the White House Kitchen garden symbolizes a much greater Obama Administration concern with American obesity, lack of exercise, high depression rates and the soaring costs of health care.

Oh, passion has also died in American bedrooms. Wanting to help solve this looming crisis, our new Love Potions channel will develop the STRONG connection between libido-raising, sexual-performance enhancing foods and HEALTHY eating generally.
