Headline News via The Onion: Sasha Obama Scams Taxpayers with Unpaid Taxes on Allowance Money

Dear readers, if you don't know The Onion, let me explain that the following story is fake satire. But the writing is so convincing that one can report stories as fact, which almost happened to me once, in an article about Wal-Mart selling sex toys.

The Onion recently recruited former CNN host Bobbie Baptista to act as their 'news anchor', reporting fiction as fact, as a bona fide newscaster. So this is the setup to a well-written, amusing article about Sasha and her unreported allowance earings.

One of my lifestyle trends 'Real or Surreal" focuses on the blurring line between fact and fiction in American culture.
