Oprah and Michelle Obama in Copenhagen: Simply Dazzling!

We have some truly fabulous photos of America's First Lady Michelle Obama in Copenhagen. And I must say that Oprah is looking mighty fine, too.

U.S. first lady Michelle Obama stands with television talk show host Oprah Winfrey, second right, and Chicago Mayor Richard Daley, right, as the Danish royal family enters at the opening ceremonies of the the 121st International Olympic Committee (IOC) Session and XIII Olympic Congress at the Copenhagen Opera House, Thursday, Oct. 1, 2009, in Copenhagen. Chicago, Madrid, Rio de Janeiro and Tokyo are competing to host the 2016 Summer Olympic Games and the IOC will choose the winning city in a vote on Friday, Oct. 2, in Copenhagen. Michelle's Oprah Interview: A Brief Glimpse at Michelle's Mom, Washington's Mrs. Robinson

I committed a sinful indulgence this morning, reading the Michelle Obama's Oprah interview in a real magazine, instead of online, drinking coffee in a lovely coffee shop near Central Park.

If I'm going to sin, well, I will go all the way. Another ten-degrees warmer, and I might have skipped work today altogether, or gone to plant bulbs in support of the Central Park Conservancy project.

Michelle and Ms. O Share the O Mag Spolight

Ms. O, aka Oprah, doesn't exactly give the cover of her April issue to First Lady Michelle Obama, as I previously reported.

Oprah shares the April O magazine cover with Michelle. It is the first time in nine years that Oprah has not solely dominated her cover. Glorious as it is, Anna Wintour's Vogue and People did scoop O, at a time when magazine sales are down.

Another Reminder That Our Fabulously 'Fierce' First Lady Is 'Just Michelle'

First order of the morning's business: rumor has it that Michelle will move Ms. O (as Leon Talley tells us Oprah is called) off the cover of O Magazine. That's big news. Has Oprah EVER not been on the cover of her magazine?

If Ms. O steals my idea about Smart Sensuality women, I will NOT be amused. (Just kidding. I'd be flattered.)

Today's Politico has an audio feature about Michelle, telling us what we already know, but it's a short, one-minute listen.

Michelle Obama has already carved out her own identity as First Lady. She is accessible to the public in a way that Jackie Kennedy never was, and I argue it's not just the case that times have changed, but that Michelle Obama (and POTUS and the First Kids and First Granny and soon -- the First Dog) has a warm and open style that was displayed by the Kennedy men but not the Kennedy women.

First Lovebirds Michelle and Barack Obama Dine Valentines at Chicago's Table 52

Photo Credit: Gourmet MagPOTUS and FLOTUS momentarily gave the press the slip last night, as they headed off for a Valentine's Day dinner at Table 52, owned by Oprah's former personal chef Art Smith.

To date, I can't tell you just how much smoochin' was going on, but I'm inclined to believe that the First Lovebirds more than did their part to erase the nation's PDA deficit.

Knowing Michelle and the Prez, it was hugs all around and perhaps a love pat on the First Lady's fabulous derriere.

"Yes We Can" Gets A Big-O Push

Anne here, sorting out all my Os . . . who to call what.

I have a problem with Os because for 10 years I've called Oprah The Big O, referring exlusively to her influence and not Oprah's ongoing weight management challenges (as defined by her, not me). And I regularly referred to the medical benefits of the Big O, in my consulting work.

I thought Oprah might be the biggest O ever in my vocab, but now we read -- and I believe, too -- that the world hasn't seen anything yet, in terms of O Power.

With Oprah being such a good friend, perhaps I can marshall all this O Power together in some sort of heirarchy . . . sort of like the Three Bears. Nope, that doesn't work either.
