Hanging Out with the Girls at 3303 Water Street: Home of Michelle's Women Powerbrokers

Is 3303 Water Street, Washington's power address for women? Susan Sher, Valerie Jarrette and Desiree Rogers all live there, calling it "the dorm". That's some dorm!

The streamlined, modern, award-winning architecture of 3303 Water Street translates into sixty-eight apartments located along the Potomac river waterfront in the heart of Georgetown.

I'm thinking the "Michelle Obama Girls Network" story is one of the premier examples in America of a group of professional women staying together 'for life', networking their way to success.

I haven't read that they played golf together regularly, but Michelle Obama, Susan Sher, Valerie Jarrette, and Desiree Rogers go way back. These days they dine together at 3303 Water Street, in progressive dinners.

Recently sold Apartment 7LToday's Chicago Tribune story on Michelle's relationship with her new Chief of Star, Susan Sher, emphasizes the long-term roots of this energizing, challenging but also comforting and trusting relationship of powerful women.
