"Renegade" Reveals Prior Strains in the Obama Marriage

Anyone arriving on Michelle-Style for the first time today might think that I'm just Tammy Wynette singin' "Stand By Your Man". Not true. But I do believe that gender relations need a serious attitude adjustment asap, and I'm not just talking to men.

I've written previously about the strain in the Obama marriage and Michelle's resentment about her husband's political ambitions. I've never suggested that all is always well in the Obama marriage, that theirs is a Cinderella story, without a host of challenges.

I've Got A Crush On You Duet

We're seeing a new kind of 'true confessions' across America. Very respectable people, like Smart Sensuality, NYTimes columnist  Judith Warner for one, have a crush on at least one the Obamas.

To date, most of the reporting is on women and their crushes on POTUS. We all know that women are more verbal and also . . .hmmmm . . .less inclined to keep a secret.

POTUS has inspired such lust among American women, that marriage counselors report a new kind of marital discord. Millions of American men now fail to pass the "why can't my husband be more like Barack Obama?" test.
