Lucinda O'Sullivan Does Some Sugar Free Fashion Talk About Michelle Obama's Stellar Rise to Fashion Fame

By now, my readers know that I can be rather -- irreverent is the term, I suppose. So I just now cracked up reading Lucinda O'Sullivan's article Michelle O, first lady of fashion, does it her way in the Independent newspaper in Ireland's most prestigious newspaper.

This paper is no rag.

I have a dear friend from Ireland, and he, too, believes in telling things as they are. Frankly, I find it refreshing!

Can you imagine reading the likes of these comments in a top American newspaper:

TIME magazine says that the Obamas insist the the rather nasty anti-Obama economic political breeze blowing in Prage is not responsible for their decision to enjoy a quiet, nonpolitical night together this evening.

Michelle in Azzedine Alaia. Simply Fabulous!

Michelle got out of her kitten heels tonight, joining POTUS is being one of the most glamorous couples in the world. I presume Bonnie Fuller thinks they look like 'penguins', but I think they look great.

FOTUS wore a classic black Azzedine Alaia dress, with a ruffled skirt which had a tulle underlay, at a NATO summit cultural even in Baden-Baden this evening.

Viva la France: FLOTUS and POTUS Show Lands in Strasbourg

The President and Michelle have moved on to the two-day NATO meeting in Stransbourg, France. Reuters is broadcasting the first photos. Note that a Smart Sensualaity estrogen mist wafted through the air, as Michelle Obama and Carla Bruni-Sarkozy met for the first time.

Note the hand-on-hand body language in the photo. Michelle won't be dominating the PDA action on this leg of the trip.
