Daily Mail Says Michelle Wore "Glazed Expression" at UN as Sarah Brown and The Important Women of the World Got Down to Business at Cipriani's

Daily Mail UK says Michelle looked totally bored at the UN, while Sarah Brown dazzled at Important Dinner for Women at Cipriani'sOur dear First Lady has "that look" on her face again. Perhaps she's wondering if she really will be allowed to go to Copenhagen by herself -- with Valerie Jarrett, of course -- or whether POTUS will be there to make sure things go right.
We forget that last year Michelle Obama was known as "the closer". This year, she's The Good Wife.
I'm not the only one questioning the First Lady's relevance on the global stage. Thankfully, Carla Bruni also didn't attend The Important Women's dinner in New York last night, although I read that Carla Bruni was very busy buttonholing important people, raising money for her own charity.
Carla Bruni landed a major donation from George Soros.
The real action for important women of the world last night was The Important Women's dinner hosted by Queen Rania, Wendi Murdoch and Pepsi CEO Indra Nooyi.
The woman of the evening was Sarah Brown, who spoke to the powerhouse crowd of 300 women about critical issues for females in developing countries. The British leveraged both Browns, as they did during the July G-8 trip.
In noting Mrs. Obama's absence, the UK headline ran: "Sarah Brown dazzles as she meets Geri Halliwell at celebrity dinner, while other leaders' wives look bored at the UN."

Some come on over to Anne of Carversville for a readup on what "women who care" were doing for the world's women last night.
Alas, it seems that even this week, A of C, not Michelle-Style, is where the action is. Anne
