We Reflect but Move Forward: September 11, 2009

President and Michelle Obama led a group of 200 White House staff, from maintenance workers and chef to top echelon advisers Rahm Emanuel and David Axelrod as a bell rang three times, before the crowd bowed their heads for a minute.

The World Trade Center towers in New York, Sept. 11, 2001In New York, Vice President and Mrs. Joe Biden joined the commemorative ceremonies at the World Trade Center site. Vice President Biden read a poem "Wild Geese" by American poet Mary Oliver.
