via Huffington PostThe word is that the Obama girls and Marian went on a gelato run in Italy. I hope that it wasn't Federici brand Gelato! Not before POTUS and FLOTUS meet Pope Benedict!

Good parenting is now part of gelato in Italy. Would you want your children eating gelato made by this man? Scandalous!

Thankfully, this ad was banned in Britain, but in Italy, que sera sera.

The Italians have a perfected relationship with the Catholic Church. Alas, it didn't rub off on me. Guilt was my middle name, and I took sinning very seriously.

Only recently did I have a lightbulb moment on the liberating powers of confession.

You know how Michelle always brings presents when she visits. Call Desiree and tell her no Federici brand gelato. I don't care what the pope's people say about Pope Benedict's adoration for something sweet. This is a no win situation for FLOTUS
