The Virginian, Charlottesville
via Flickr's Hicks97The ladies stopped for dinner at The Virginian in Charlottesville, and enjoyed ice cream at Arch's. Dinner was almost as American as apple pie: "Virginian crab cakes, southern fried chicken, a couple of steaks, things like that."
I have a strong emotional relationship with Monticello and Thomas Jefferson. A couple months ago, we posted a wonderful video about the reopened parts of Monticello.
See Anne of Carversville: Monticello: A Smart Sensuality, Uniquely American Home. The video is wonderful!
Tell me now, is this road into Monticello just spectacular! Thomas Jefferson was such a sensualist, down to every detail.
