Renaissance, Radiance, Rosebud and Miriam Touch Down in Paris

Barack Obama et son épouse Michelle sont arrivés peu avant midi à l'aéroport de Caen.This moment, POTUS and FLOTUS are in Normandy, preparing for today's D-Day commemoration.

Talk about a stealth landing! Apparently the First Lady, daughters and mom Miriam arrived without fanfare at the Eiffel Tower in Paris, catching both tourists and press by surprise. The female contingent of America's First Family traveled in nearly total secrecy to Paris, catching a mini tour of Paris, while the President flew in from Germany.

via Huffington PostI've pulled together some links for you about D-Day, one of the most awesome moments of bravery in American history. My uncle was there but he never spoke of his experience. There's nothing to say about D-Day. The photos of red water sum up the experience.  :
