Darienne M. Page, answering calls in the West Wing last month, carries the title of receptionist of the United States, or Rotus, the nickname President Obama uses. Featured recently in NYTimes profile, From Serving in Iraq to White House Receptionist, Ms. Page is again featured in this Brian Williams internet-only video interview?
Admitting that as ROTUS, she wants to say "Hi, POTUS" and perhaps "Hi, FLOTUS", Darienne bites her articulate tongue, and says "Hello, Mr. President" instead.
