Queen Elizabeth Plants Her Very Own Organic Garden

ABC News is reporting that Queen Elizabeth has decided to grow her own organic veggies, perhaps influenced by her dear American friend Michelle Obama.
It's been decades since Buckingham Palace has enjoyed the bounty of a vegetable garden.
Coincidentally, the Queen has decided that 'now' is the time to give it a go again. I doubt that Her Majesty will be wearing Lanvin sneakers to dig in the garden, but this announcement -- probably shared with Michelle last Wednesday on her private tour of Buckingham Palace -- has to make our First Lady smile.
The Queen's organic vegetable patch is about 10 yards by eight yards in size, located in Buckingham Palace's 40-acres garden. It is at the rear of the garden in an area which is called the Yard Bed.
Unlike Michelle Obama, who's not yet dining on veggies named after her, Queen Elizabeth's garden will include Royal Red and Blue Queen beans and three kinds of royal lettuce -- Golden Queen, Queen of Hearts and White Queen.

Prince Charles has impeccable credentials years back on this entire topic of global sustainability.
And now, out of the clear blue sky, his Queen Mum decides to plant an organic vegetable garden, after becoming buddies with Michelle Obama.
Speaking of our own First Lady, she will be back in the White House garden tomorrow. Michelle and her school buddies will also be in the kitchen. A
