Michelle Obama Charms New York City

(AP Photo/Evan Agostini)New York needs a hit of infectious charm and FLOTUS delivered an enthusiastic 'fix' to the city with multiple appearances around town.
After her visit to the U.S. Mission to the United Nations and an appearance on "Sesame Street," the First Lady celebrated her inclusion on Time's 100 "Most Influential People." Michelle Obama seized the opportunity to introduce the Obama administration's $50 million Social Innovation Fund, already approved by Congress.
By now FLOTUS is accustomed to dealing with powerful crowds. The Time gala included fellow honorees Oprah Winfrey, Barbara Walters and her cohorts from "The View," financial analyst Suze Orman, fashion designer Stella McCartney, and the guys who invented Twitter.
Not on the honoree list but also attending: Diane Sawyer and Charlie Rose. Actors Claire Danes and Hugh Dancy, Kate Hudson and Liv Tyler. Director Judd Apatow, "Saturday Night Live" producer Lorne Michaels.
Conservative commentator Ann Coulter was also in attendance, and I'll be stopping by her column this morning. A
