My God, She Did It! Michelle Gives the Queen a Hug!

No wait, the Brits are now saying that the Queen made the first move.

This was my worst fear for Michelle. I wasn't worried about a curtsy or her tripping on the parlor rug.

"Michelle," I whispered. "Remember not to touch the queen. Repeat after me: don't hug the Queen; don't hug the Queen; don't hug the Queen."

She has put Smart Sensuality women on the map, once and for all. The Michelle Obama PDA offensive has been launched in a full, backside attack,  "as if confirming the 'special relationship' Britain has with the U.S.

So we can write about Jason Wu, and Elizabeth Toledo, the big black Alaia belt that looks so good with The Beast, but the real news in London is the hug.

Brits are stunned but jubilant. And our magnificent First Lady, well, she's "Magic Michelle" and a host of other endearing names. Once again, Michelle has led with the personal, setting her apart from Jackie O. You are witnessing the new Smart Sensuality woman in action.

Another note, President Obama shook the hand of an ordinary Brit policeman, which also caused waves in the British press. Heads of state to not shake the hands of the ordinary folk, even if they are guarding his or her safety. Nice tough, POTUS!
