Fashionistas will be happy to know that Mrs. Obama has broken out of the indy designers pack to wear one of the country's most 'American' designers Michael Kors.

My earlier today Daily Gumbo also contrasts the two women, suggesting that Michelle Obama displays a vitality and confident exhuberance that's downplayed in the Kennedy women.

To me, these two Daily Mail photo speak volumes about my point. To those who compare the two women, I say they are different birdies.

Without an ounce of disrespect to Mrs. Kennedy, perhaps we should focus on the ways that she is NOT Michelle Obama. Granted, Michelle must prove herself yet, as America's First Lady, but I find her off to a glorious, Smart Sensuality start.

Everything about Michelle's body language, her physicality, her PDAs -- the totality of her physical presence -- says "I am woman; hear me roar."

Seriously, look at the imagery of Helen Reddy. Michelle IS this Smart Sensuality woman.

To repeat, Michelle Obama is fierce, and she's moving out quickly into her own lane on the First Lady super highway.

I will go on record now, with full confidence, saying that the next time we elect a new president of the United States, the attributes of his wife or her husband, will be more important than ever before in history.

Stating it early can make me wrong in the end, but I believe this woman will be a VERY tough act to follow. Michelle Obama and her team will rewrite the book about what it means to be First Spouse in the White House.
