Obamas Organize Stevie Wonder Tribute
Saturday, February 14, 2009 at 6:50AM The White House has announced a concert to honor Stevie Wonder, whose song "Signed, Sealed and Delivered, I'm Yours" became the theme song for the Obama presidential campaign
The president and first lady Michelle Obama will present Stevie Wonder a Gershwin Prize for Lifetime Achievement from the Library of Congress on Feb. 25, with the concert broadcast the following Thurs. night on PBS as part of its "Performance at the White House" series.
Popping over to YouTube, I got a bit more Stevie Wonder for Obama inspiration than I expected.
First up, Stevie Wonder making an impromptu, meaty speech at UCLA, introduced by Michelle, and surrounded by Oprah, Caroline Kennedy and Maria Shriver.
Here we have a photo montage of the President . . . lots of family pics.
Lastly, we see President Obama and Michelle bustin' a move to "Signed, Sealed and Delivered"m sung not just by Steveie, but an ALL STAR LINEUP, at one of the Inaugural Balls. I missed this last one, until this morning.
Enjoy, A
