Michelle, A Woman Without 'Handlers"

Today's Washington Times reminds us that, unlike her five immediate predecessors, Michelle Obama enters the White House without a longtime team of handlers, speechwriters and aides.
Laura Bush, Hillary Rodham Clinton, Barbara Bush, Nancy Reagan and Rosalynn Carter already had a team assembled for the transition to the national stage.
The article, housed in First Lady, gives us an excellent overview of Michelle Obama's team, comprised of several Iowa operatives and long-time friends from Chicago.
